John is at present gravely ill.
The removal of tumors from his remaining kidney went well. He managed to retain about 90% of his kidney.
John has however complications from a secondary infection in the bowel.
I would ask people who know John to keep him in their thoughts and prayers. I spoke with Leonie this morning and have been brought up to date with his condition.
John is my oldest and constant friend I have. He has stuck through with me when so many others have come and gone. My family are all praying that he pulls through. The next 24-48 hours will be critical.
